Dr. (Fuller) Nguyen graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Mary Washington and a doctorate in counseling psychology from the APA accredited program through the University of North Dakota. She completed her APA accredited clinical internship at the Topeka Veterans Affairs Medical Center. She then completed her first postdoctoral fellowship at Truman Medical Centers and a second post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at DR Associates of North Texas.

Dr. Nguyen has had a variety of experiences serving clients in the following settings: college counseling centers, private practice, VA hospitals, medical centers, a mediation clinic, acute rehabilitation hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities. She has extensive experience working with older adults, anxiety, chronic pain, relationship difficulties, OCD, depression, and trauma. Her theoretical orientation is based on a holistic approach that integrates aspects of cognitive behavioral, person-centered, and solution-focused therapy. She also offers neuropsychological testing for a comprehensive range of conditions including neurocognitive disorders, ADHD, head injury, and other neurological disorders.

Dr. Nguyen is authorized through PSYPACT to provide interstate teletherapy services for clients in participating states. Further, she has completed advanced training at the Trichotillomania Learning Center Foundation in the treatment of body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRB) including hair pulling and skin picking.

Personally, Dr. Nguyen enjoys running and outdoor activities such as hiking and fishing with her husband and family.
