Caleb Klassen

MA, LPC

Caleb is a Licensed Professional Counselor, he received his Masters degree in biblical counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2015. Caleb’s clinical experience includes 6 years in non-profit work at Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center (DARCC) where he worked with individuals in experiencing immediate crisis and trauma before transitioning into private practice. Caleb is trained and certified in various types therapy modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma Informed Transactional Analysis (TA), and is SYMBIS certified.

Caleb enjoys working with adult individuals, often working with them to reconstruct and integrate their faith in an approachable way. Caleb works with couples who are struggling with communication breakdowns, high conflict, infidelity, and clients of diversity from all walks of life. Caleb brings a humorous approach to therapy, helping clients go from anxious, hopeless, and lost to living with purpose and embracing their most authentic selves.

Caleb grew up in the pumpkin capitol of the world, Morton, Illinois. He received his undergraduate degree in history at John Brown University. After graduation, he moved to Santa Lucia Cotzumalguapa, Guatemala where he was an ESL teacher for three years, and he still loves speaking Spanish whenever he can. When Caleb is not doing therapy, he is enjoying long morning walks with his daughter, Evie and Goldendoodle, Marty. Caleb enjoys cooking with his wife, biking, yoga, and beach getaways, often waking early to enjoy his morning coffee with a book. Caleb has a habit of researching his next vacation and learning all of the history about their next destination, serving as the official tour guide.
