Anna is a Texas native and grew up outside of Houston. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.A. in Communication and minor in Business. After college, Anna moved to Dallas to work for a nonprofit that provides education to children in Zambia. Over several trips to Zambia, she was deeply impacted by the hope and resilience of the people she met. Desiring to help and connect with people on a more personal level, Anna decided to pursue her Masters in Counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary, graduating in 2023. 

While in school, Anna served as a masters-level intern at Dallas LIFE, a homeless recovery center. She provided counseling to residents suffering from depression, mood disorders, trauma, sexual abuse, family of origin issues, and relationship conflict. Anna also worked at Sparrow House Counseling as a masters-level intern and has experience treating individuals with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, adjustment to difficult life situations, and communication and conflict issues in marriage. Anna’s goal is to work alongside individuals and empower them to face the challenges that inevitably arise in life. Anna strives to create a safe and supportive environment where individuals have the freedom to explore, grow, and accomplish their goals. 

In her free time, Anna loves spending time with her husband, family, and friends, playing pickleball, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, traveling, and spending time outdoors. 

Anna is a certified Prepare/Enrich Premarital and Marriage Assessment Facilitator and has completed the training for Gottman Method Couples Therapy: Level 1.
