Pam earned her bachelor degree from Baylor University and a master degree in religious education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She served as Children’s Director in various churches in North Texas. During her time in children’s work, Pam was drawn to pursue a master degree in counseling, and completed it from Dallas Baptist University. She has been a licensed professional counselor for over 25 years, working with individuals, couples, and families.
Pam began her professional career at the Meier Clinic partial hospital program in Richardson, where she worked with patients as therapist, group leader and teacher of psychoeducational classes. More recently, Pam had served as the Director and lead counselor at Pathways Christian Counseling Center in downtown Dallas for over 20 years, working with a diverse population from across the metroplex. As an L.P.C. Supervisor, she has also greatly enjoyed supervising many master level students and LPC-associates.
One of the greatest joys Pam has is guiding men and women in their journey of healing and personal growth. She believes that each person is created in the image of our Creator, and meant to live a purposeful life. Pam meets each client where [s]he is and develops a personalized treatment to help them reach their therapy goals.
She has extensive experience in helping individuals dealing with anxiety, stress, grief, abuse and depression. Pam also specializes in marital counseling, utilizing her training in both the Gottman method as well as Emotion-focused therapy.
In her free time, Pam enjoys traveling, hiking, pickleball and spending quality time with friends and family.
