Gina earned a BS in Counseling from the University of North Texas at Arlington and an MS in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. A resident of Dallas for 40 years, Gina has enjoyed the arts, culture and food the city has to offer. Throughout her life she has been interested in other cultures and the way other people do life.

Gina resides in East Dallas. At a young age, Gina experienced coping with the death of a sibling and divorced parents. Gina was a PTA mom and church volunteer while raising two children before returning to work full time. Through life’s struggles and challenges, Gina has learned the importance of family, friends, faith, and community resources.

Gina believes that change is an inevitable part of life. Gina provides guidance and support during those changes with the goal of an improved way to do life. Gina specializes in helping individuals struggling with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, grief, and complex trauma, by utilizing a mixture of different types of treatment modalities including EMDR. Gina strives to provide a safe and empathic environment to help clients move forward toward healing and growth. Gina works collaboratively with clients to develop new and healthier ways of coping with challenges and difficulties. Gina’s goal is to help clients look towards the future with hope and a new way of living. As we travel through this journey of life, we are faced with many challenges. No one is immune to these complications. It is important to feel supported through these moments with love and acceptance. Gina is dedicated to being on that journey with you.

In her free time, Gina enjoys spending time with her friends and family, riding her bike or walking around the lake, sitting on her deck with a dog in her lap and a book in her hand. Gina also loves traveling with family, discovering hiking trails, rafting and other adventures.
