Annalise is a Texas native and grew up in San Antonio, TX. She received her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors of Science in Education. After college, Annalise moved to Austin, and started her career as a middle school teacher. Although Annalise loved her time in education, she knew she wanted to connect with people on a deeper level and decided to pursue her masters in Biblical Counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary, where she graduated from in 2018.
Annalise has counseling experience working in both private practice and clinical settings. Before going into private practice full time, Annalise worked in an intensive outpatient program for individuals struggling with eating disorders. She has experience treating individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma and emotional regulation as well as working with relationship dynamics amongst couples. Annalise has a passion for helping to equip individuals to tackle the many challenges life brings. Annalise’s goal in counseling is to provide a collaborative environment where clients can process as well as receive feedback on how to move forward through the challenges they are facing and achieve their goals.
When not at Sparrow House, you can find Annalise grabbing coffee from one of her favorite local spots, trying a new pilates class, or spending time outdoors with her husband, daughter, son and goldendoodle, Brinkley!
