Sparrow House Counseling

Key Responsibilities

  • Email and phone management

  • Process new clients

  • Appointment scheduling and auditing

  • Simple billing: Process appointments and upload billing information

  • Maintain the office calendar

  • Maintain office inventory and office supply orders

  • Assist in the development and updating of administrative policies and procedures

  • Identify and recommend improvements to enhance office efficiency and client satisfaction

  • Other office related tasks

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a medical administrative role, preferably in a behavioral health setting.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Suites, Apple products, and experience with an EMR system preferred

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with clients and staff.

  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Confidentiality: Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.

  • Preferred: Interest or background in the mental health field

Work Environment

  • Schedule: Part-time position, approximately 16-20 hours a week during the hours of 8am and 5pm.

  • Location: On-site in Dallas, TX.
